I was asked to create a set of really quick and easy cards that could be used for several holidays during the year including a birthday, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The group wanted the opportunity to purchase a stamp set that would cover all of these and more. Holiday Blitz was perfect when teamed up with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and a variety of ribbons.

Inspiration from The Container Store
For my birthday this year three of my favorite people (Audrey, Kdy and Barbara) treated me to a fantastic day of fun and spoiling. We went bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes, to dinner at Houston's (yum), and to a little hole-in-the-wall ice cream shop named Hans'. If you want the best ice cream ever...go to Hans' in Santa Ana. The Bordeaux Cherry Hot Fudge Sundae is to die for and probably responsible for 10 of the 50 pounds I need to lose before my son's wedding in August!
Kdy wrapped my presents in the boxes shown above. They're from The Container Store (oh...just mentioning the name makes my heart pound) and as soon I saw them I thought of the Petal Pizazz stamp set. I knew that I'd be using the design and colors as inspiration for my thank you notes. They turned out cute don't you think?
When you're stamping and are stuck for ideas...look around you. There's inspiration everywhere! Kleenex boxes, clothing, wrapping paper, magazines, and furniture are just a few of the places I've used for some of my clients favorite projects.

Petal Pizazz One Sheet Wonder
I still love One Sheet Wonders! I designed these cards for a church group event in November that never panned out. So it looks like I have a whole Stamp Camp's worth of projects to share with my stampin' buddies. I don't have the template in a file that I can share with you yet, but I'll try to add it to the blog soon.
