Motivation Monday - 3/7/22 - Easter Friends & More

The images in the Easter Friends stamp set make me smile and I couldn't wait to play with them and try out a new technique to me, Diamond Flip Fold.  I have been asked to do an Online Card Class in the Mail for Easter and have selfishly chosen this stamp set as the one we will use because I just can't get enough of it!  I hope my stampers will love it as much as I do.  If you're not into coloring, this may be not be the set for you.  However, if you love the Stampin' Blends and how they make you look like a real artist, you're going to love this class.  For full details click here.  Registration for the class ends on March 11, 2022, but you can purchase the step-by-step written and video tutorials any time!  Scroll down for measurements and a "Shop Now" button that has all the products used for these projects listed for you.  Shopping is made easy with a quick click of a button!  

TIP:  When creating cards for St. Patrick's Day you do not need to have shamrocks, rainbows, Leprechauns, etc.  I have found that using shades of green on my project does the trick. If you want shamrocks, but don't have a stamp with that image, hearts work like a charm!

Motivation Monday - 2/28/22 - Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks

For Motivation Monday I shared a few ways to create with masks.  I really did not know how fun these masks would be to use.  In addition to the ideas I shared, you could also spritz with ink, chalk, or glimmer sprays, sponge with paint, trace with markers, emboss with VersaMark ink and embossing powders, dry emboss with a ball stylus tool, or add texture using embossing paste.  Talk about a versatile tool!  You can watch my live step-by-step tutorial showing even more techniques on my Facebook page here.

Motivation Monday - 2/21/22 - Spotlight Technique

This week for Motivation Monday I brought back a technique that we have used for years and years.  The Spotlight Technique is a great way to highlight a particular area of an image or color to your project quickly.  To see my step-by-step live video on Facebook click here.  Measurements and a list of products used (click the Shop Now button) are available below.  The Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper was a free option during Sale-a-Bration and is not included on the shopping list because it is no longer available.  The good news?  You can use any stamps and papers you have in your collection to make these projects.
