For this card you will need:
- Lasting Lily stamp set
- Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry, Grapefruit Grove, Basic Black, and Memento Black inkpads
- Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker
- Whisper White (4" x 5-1/4" and 5-1/2" x 8-1/2") cardstock
- Basic Gray watercolor pencil
- Aqua Painter
- 14" ribbon
- SNAIL adhesive
Directions:
- Stamp lily petal images in Smokey Slate ink on the small white cardstock piece and Post-it notes to create masking pieces. Trim out Post-it note lilies.
- Mask over the lilies with Post-it note pieces. Sponge the entire front of the card umbra style with Crushed Curry, Grapefruit Grove, and Basic Black ink using a swiping, upwards motion over the card, do not dab. Remove masking.
- Flick water around the edges of the card to create a water drop effect. Allow to dry completely. (You may want to add weight over the card to reduce curling while drying)
- Stamp stem, leaves, and sentiment images in Memento Black ink.
- Use an Aqua Painter and watered down Crushed Curry ink to shade the inside of the lilies. When dry, color the flower spadix with Crushed Curry marker. Over stamp the lily flower images in Smokey Slate ink.
- Use the watercolor pencil lightly and randomly to add detail lines and shading to the edges of the lilies; blend slightly with Aqua Painter.
- Finish cards as shown.
