A few weeks ago I received a card in the mail inviting Dennis and I to dinner with the new President of Stampin' Up!, Rich Jutkins on our Stampin' Up! Alaska Cruise next week! I'm honored to have received this invitation:
I thought the design of the card would be perfect to showcase the new Sail Away stamp in the Summer Mini Catalog:
One thing I learned after cutting all the scallop strips is to pay close attention to how they align before you cut the length. I really like the way the scallops are layered on the Stampin' Up! card, not so much on my copy. Unfortunately, Dennis had already cut 150 of these strips for Stamp Camp before I realized the difference and I didn't have the heart to ask him to cut them again.
I can't wait to board the ship next week. I'll miss my little Lexi while we're away, but she'll have one of her favorite people here to play with all week, so she'll be happy.
Alaska is so beautiful and one of my favorite places to visit. The best part? It's FREE! As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator we have the opportunity to earn wonderful benefits...free stamps...extra cash...great friends...and incentive trips all around the world! Dennis doesn't even mind helping me cut paper when the reward is a trip like this. I thought earning the incentive trips through Stampin' Up! would be impossible when I first started as a demonstrator, but soon learned that anyone can do it if they're willing to try. I'd love to be the one to help you achieve success as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, so if you've ever wanted to share your joy of stamping with others...let's talk!
Be sure to visit the blog next week to see the fantastic cruise incentive I'm offering to my customers. It's because of you that Dennis and I will be enjoying the cruise and I think you need to be thanked in a special way.
