Dennis and I were blessed to be able to take a trip of a lifetime to Europe this past summer. I thought it would be a perfect time to play with the Stampin' Up! My Digitial Studio program I had on my computer but hadn't really tried out yet. Being a "true" scrapbooker for the past 15 or so years I NEVER thought I'd go digital. Actually, I fought it for a long, long time. I felt that it was cheating or less creative. Boy, was I wrong. I'm totally hooked on this program! The best part was that I was able to take my digitial scrapbooking program everywhere because it's in my computer. I didn't have to be hooked up to the internet so I scrapped in the car, on the ship and in the plane. This is the first time I've finished a complete vacation scrapbook and I had it done within a week of returning home...all 100 pages!
At the end of each adventurous day I downloaded my photographs and started scrapping. It was great! Dennis and I were able to reflect on the day's happenings and I was able to journal while it was all fresh in my mind. I don't know about you, but I always think I'm going to remember EVERYTHING and then when I finally pull my pictures out years later I haven't a clue. Though I still enjoy the touch and feel of three dimensional scrapbooking, I'm going to save the real paper and ink pages for the books about my children and focus on digital books about Dennis and I. Afterall, we have over 50 years of memories to scrap and I need to get them done in this lifetime. The artist in me still wants my scrapbooks to look fabulous and with the My Digitial Studio...they will!
