The Be My Valentine stamp from the Occasions Mini Catalog is perfect for Valentine's Day, but you can use it for so many occasions by just changing the words on the banner. I typed up a bunch of different sentiments on the computer including Congratulations and Best Wishes for the Bride and Groom, Happy Anniversary, love you more (something our family always says to each other), Thinking of You, Best Friends and a few couple's names that I know I'll need anniversary cards for soon. I printed my list on Whisper White cardstock and then using a black marker I added ink to the banner portion of the stamp only. Using a Stamp-a-Majig I stamped the banner around the words I typed and then trimmed the banner out. The black banner was placed over the red heart and I now have cards for a variety of occasions.
For these cards I used the MojoMonday Sketch 172 and did my take on a design by Mary Fish:
This is another January Stamp Camp project for the ladies who want to join in on the fun but don't normally send Valentine's cards. They'll be making 8 cards and the darling little box card holder to store them in. I'm surprising them with the Be My Valentine stamp for their collection.
