I’ve received so many messages recently asking me where I’ve been, when I’m going to be posting again, and if I’m okay. First, I’d like to say thank you for noticing that I’ve been gone. Second, I’d like to apologize for not checking in, but life has been so incredibly busy! Besides my 40-50 hour a week marketing job keeping me away from my scrappin’ and stampin’ desk I’ve been traveling a lot. Since the first week of July I’ve been to Chicago twice, Palm Desert twice, Arizona, Canada and taken a 14-day cruise to the Mediterranean. I’ve also been dealing with extensive dental work, skin cancer treatments, and a case of the shingles. We’ve been struggling with my father-in-law’s battle with cancer as well. Larry is fighting a good fight, but has been in and out of the hospital having numerous surgeries and radiation treatments. In between working, traveling, visits to doctors and slathering my body with cream after cream, I’ve been designing and preparing lots of cards and scrapbook pages, hosting Stamp Camps and introducing my love of stamping to new people through hostess workshops. I created a 100-page digital scrapbook about our cruise too! Can I just say that the My Digital Scrapbook Program is AWESOME!?!!?! Oh yeah…we’ve had one other major event in our family…my son David got married! How did that happen? Wasn’t he just born? For the wedding I stamped 100 Save the Date cards, 100 wedding invitations: and made the cake topper (aka cake "crusher" since the thing turned out so big and heavy!): So have you figured out what Candace's favorite flowers are? Here's another hint: I’ll be adding more pictures, so if you’re reading this before I get them all uploaded, be sure to check back soon! I had to take the first couple of weeks off in September to re-group, but I’m hoping things will get back to normal again and you’ll see me on a regular basis soon. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

Now you're probably wondering about the cake crusher and the meaning behind it. David and Candace met online playing World of Warcraft. They become best friends and eventually realized that their friendship had grown in to love and wanting to be together forever. The computer screens actually show the game. They have three cats and a bird. David loves Star Wars and is a huge USC fan (and graduate). The rest of the items say a little about each one of them...Candace is a writer, hence the pencil. David works for Boeing so there's a plane. They both like to read. Neither one of them likes to shop, but Pele loves to play in bags and that's the one I had in my miniature stash. Anyway, you get the picture.
