Okay, so here's a lousy picture of my "out of the box" idea for the center of the Island Floral Bigz Die.  Sorry, but I'm preparing for Camp and don't have time to take a better one at the moment. I love this flower, but thought it would look better with with something that looked like the filament and anthers of a hibiscus flower.  The Stampin' Up! Snowflake punch to the rescue!  Trust me, when the flower's not smooshed on a scanner, it looks great!  Just attach the snowflake punch piece to the center of the flower and scrunch all the ends together to the middle.  It really finishes the flower off great!  This is the final Stamp Camp card selection for June. 

 

The petals of the flower have a coating of Crystal Effects to help them keep their shape.  The cardstock is Apricot Appeal sponged in Pumpkin Pie. 

June Stamp Camp Projects

The Tropical series is so much fun!  Doesn't the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper, Tropical Party stamp set and Island Floral die make you want to party!?!?!  This month we're going tropical for those of you who will be headed to Hawaii, or just wish you were. I think it's because I have vacationing in mind.  I'm not going to Hawaii, but as of today I'll be on an airplane 12 times in the next two months!  Here's a peek at our Stamp Camp cards.  I want to thank Crystal Lenssen, Mary Brown, OregonStamper, and Michelle Zindorf for sharing their creativity so I could CASE some of their designs : )

I didn't think it was possible, but thanks to Stampin' Up! and my fantastic loyal customers I'm "this close" to taking Dennis on the Stampin' Up! Cruise to Alaska!  I would love to surprise Dennis with this trip to thank him for all he does to help me to serve you.  He cuts all our projects, packages them, and packs up the van every time I host a workshop or Stamp Camp.  Without him, I couldn't do what I do.
