Some of you have been wondering where I disappeared to, so I thought I better check in. 5 weeks ago I accepted a full time job as a Marketing Assistant for a company called Donahue Schriber. I'm working with an incredible ball of creativity, intellence and energy, by the name of Audrey. I have already learned so much from her and look forward to the day that I don't have that deer in the highlights kind of look on my face when someone at the office asks me for something! I thought that working during the day at Donahue Schriber and the evening for Stampin' Up! would be a piece of cake, but WOW!...was I wrong! Even though I was used to working 12-14 hours a day, this is different. I'm exhausted when I get home. Audrey and I have also been flying back and forth between Sacramento and Orange County every week, so that may have something to do with it. I'm really enjoying being back in the corporate world, but I miss my stampin' buddies. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, so please continue to be patient with me. Donahue Schriber is in the shopping center market, so October thru December is the busiest time of the year. I'll be back in business with Stampin' Up! soon. Don't give up on me! I won't be available 24/7 like I used to be, but I'll still be here to meet your stampin' needs. We'll continue to have Stamp Camp and the Clubs of the Month projects, but workshop times will be at premium. If you're thinking about hosting a party, it will need to be on a weekend now. Remember, it's never too early to book your party date, especially now that my schedule is going to fill up even more quickly.
I hope all is well with you. Hopefully, I'll see a lot of you at Stamp Camp in December! Watch for your newsletter announcing dates and times.
Take care!
So glad you are enjoying your new place in the corporate world! I really hope I can get to a stamp event in 2008! Hugs!
