Card of the Month is one of the most popular services I offer. Each month I choose a stamp set to feature and create 4 cards from that set to show the versatility of the designs. Then I put together a kit that contains everything needed to complete the projects including the featured stamp set, pre-cut cardstock, envelopes, embellishments and step-by-step instructions. It's like having a mini Stamp Camp delivered directly to your door! The cost of the kit is $30.00 plus shipping. This year I will be using the most popular stamp sets rather than choosing one just because it fits into a certain price range. Here's the projects we made for the December kit the featured the Sock Monkey Accessories stamp set. My goal was to encourage my customers to look at stamp sets a little closer. Because this is an "accessory" stamp set, most of my customers never considered the possibilities. They thought because they didn't have the Sock Monkey set, they couldn't use the accessory set for anything. I hope these samples help you to look at the sets differently from now on.
With Card of the Month, I always try to think of an "Out of the Box" project. One that makes you think of a way to use a stamp in an unconventional way. Here's what I came up with for this set. The daisy is made by stamping the bunny ears in a circle and cutting the petals out as one big flower.
